Halloween Party

Sorry it has taken me so long to get these pix up. We had our grown up Halloween party on Nov. 1st. The theme this year was "Trailer Trash". Everyone really got into it. We have a good friend who owns a RV dealership and they brought us this crappy trailer they took as a trade in. We decorated it and pretty much made it the focal point of the party.

Halloween 2008!

We just finished Trick-or-Treating. Noble had a great time. Lots of people had their dogs with them while they handed out candy and Noble has yet to meet a "pup-pup" she does not like! We went with a large group of friends, which she also enjoyed. She loves to be around other kids. Manning was our photographer and rode a golf cart (cheater!) while I pushed or carried Noble (22.5 lbs).

Mommy looks really happy. What's in her cup anyway?

Halloween Fun!

I know I'm cute. I'll clap to that!
You people are so funny. You think you are making me clap?
What do you think I've got you doing?
How do you feel about jumping through hoops?

Mommy's Little Pumpkin

This is MY pumpkin. Get your own!
One cute pumpkin.

This is so much fun, Mommy is actually letting me climb something!

If I smile will you get that camera out of my face?

We took Noble to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday to take pictures. These are just few of the 100 plus that were taken. I'll send you the photographer's link so you can check them all out if you want . These are my favorites, but the others are funny. Noble mostly gave us her trade mark "What the hell!" look throughout the entire ordeal. We also got a few of her in her Halloween costume. She is going to be a ladybug. We really got her laughing on those! I think she felt better without jeans on. As you can see in the pictures she is walking now and I am having a hard time keeping up. She moves a mile a minute and nothing is safe. I think the dog has been sleeping with one eye open and the cat is spending more time outside!

Ranch Time is here!

Hunting season starts for us this weekend! That means we will be at the ranch every weekend. Noble finally gets to wear all the camo we got when she was born. You might not be able to read her shirt in the picture, but it says "High Maintenance Camo". So true.

Look at me grow...

Noble went to the doctor yesterday for her 9 month check up. She weighs 22 lbs and is 28 6/8 inches tall. She crawls at the speed of light and is really good at walking while holding on to furniture. She now likes to move from one piece of furniture to the next. Her vocabulary is getting bigger. She can say Mama, no (repeats after me) and pu (puppy). Her two favorite noises to make right now are a fake laugh and "raspberries". We visited Aunt Stacie last weekend and had a blast with the cousins. Noble loved Bella and followed her constantly. She was pretty interested in Aniston, but we did not want the little chunk to hurt the baby. Enjoy the pix!

That face says it all...

Noble wanted to help Manning set up the aquarium he got for her room. I put her inside it so she could inspect it. I'm a little worried now about putting it in her room. The look on her face makes me think she has some interesting plans for her new "toy".

Want the secret to young, baby soft skin?

Apply SWEET POTATOES to your face nightly, leave on for a few minutes, and remove with warm water. They do wonders for your hair, too!

Don't let Mommy fool you, I'm the brains of this operation!

Noble is getting bigger everyday. She has recently started to let go of furniture while she is standing. She is actually getting pretty good at it, but she gets really excited and screeches, throws her hands up in the air and then falls on her butt. She is cutting a few teeth right now (she tends to sprout multiples), bringing the total to 4. There may be more, but she does not like me messing with her mouth and I don't enjoy getting bit! As much as she has me moving, running and jumping I should be back to track weight by Christmas.

What Manning has been up to this summer...

As you know last summer we bought a new boat, the Marlinrita. This summer the guys entered their first tournament... They came in third with this blue marlin! It is very impressive, b/c these guys have only taken the boat out on two billfishing trips and this is their 3rd marlin. They were also competing against boat captains who fish for a living and have been doing so for most of their lives. They started fishing at 6:30 Saturday morning, only had in 5 of their 6 lines and hooked this fish. It took Chad (Manning's brother) 2 hours and 45 minutes to reel the fish in. It was officially weighed in at 448 lbs and measured at 106 inches (from its jaw to the fork in the tail). Unfortunately this tourney only pays 1st place in the marlin division. Now I'm nervous b/c the women's tourney is next month and its up to us girls to get one of those big sucker in the boat!

Look what I can do...

Noble is growing and going. She crawls like a champ and is now pulling up to stand on anything and everything. This has landed us in the ER once so far! 2 weeks ago (the 1st day she started this) she fell while standing and did not let go of the box she was holding on to. The next morning she would not use her left arm. After the x-ray we found out she had dislocated her elbow! They popped it back into place and she has not slowed down since. Over the weekend she started to try to "cruise" around the coffee table and couch.

Peek-a-Boo

Noble has learned that once she wakes up someone will come get her out her crib. She has also caught on to the fact that they will enter from the same door every time. So when she hears the door to her room open, she pull the bumper on crib down so that she can see who is coming to get her. I of course love to crawl in so it makes it harder for her to see me and then play peek-a-boo with her... is there any hope she might turn out normal?

Here we go...

I hope that I can do this right. If so it will be a great way to share our lives with you guys. I kind of dropped the ball on e-mailing pix of Noble, so maybe I can handle this...
She is getting so big. I was very worried she was going to start crawling while we were in Mexico, but she didn't. She has mastered the army crawl and has also started to wave. Beauty and brains...wonder where she gets it =) You can't really tell in this picture but her hair has become curly!
