Beach Babe

Spring has sprung, the fun has begun!

Last week I took Noble for her first trip to the beach. Yes, I know it is sad that we live on the coast and she just now, at 15 months old, got to go to the beach. She had a great time and was not afraid of anything! She loved to walk out in the water and to sit and splash in it. She also enjoyed the sand as you can see in the pictures. She is really in her element at the beach. She has all her favorites: sand, water, food and music! We are looking forward to a summer full of many more beach trips and we hope to have some grandparents, aunts and cousins in town to take with us!

Queen Bee

Noble had her 15 month check up today. She weighs 26.6 lbs, is 30.5 inches tall (90% for height and weight). She got two shots, but managed to kick the nurse who administered them, so all is fair! Here are some random pix of our everyday life. Noble is really becoming her own person. A while back she wanted to go outside, but knew she needed to put on a sweater. The first thing she found was pajamas, so she had me put them on her. As we went out the door she found her sweater and had me put that on her too. The result was hysterical. She loves to be outside and most of our major battles these days are over her getting to go outside when she wants (6:45 am). Second to that she enjoys doing everything I do. Apparently I talk on the phone alot!

The Chapmans go to H-town!

Manning, Noble and I went to Houston last weekend. We had a great time hangin' with the Aguileras. Saturday morning Manning, Stacie and I took the girls to the Zoo. It was a cold, but our girls are troopers. After running all over the zoo the two little ones were asleep before we got to the parking lot and Bella didn't last much longer. Saturday evening we were treated to a delicious meal and GREAT margaritas at Norton's (Ram's restaurant). Noble loved it there too. They have a little stage for bands that she was sure was built just for her. Once we got home Noble, Aniston and Stacie went to sleep! All in all we had a great time. I' looking froward to them coming to Rockport so we can show them a good time too.

The Artist Formally Know As Noble!

Noble discovered crayons this weekend and with them a new passion! She will sit for a very long time and just doodle her heart out. As you can see in the picture she concentrates very hard on her work. She talks the entire time in a serious voice and "comments" on almost every mark. Surprisingly she knows that the pointy part of the crayon is what is supposed to do the drawing. She make sure that the point is going the right way in her hand before she marks on the paper. It is hilarious to watch. She will also only draw on one side of the paper at a time. Here is the masterpiece she created last night (what she is working on in the previous picture).

Happy 2009!

I know it has been a while since I last updated, its been a very busy month! Noble turned ONE. We had a great party. She loved playing in the "snow", but I think she liked the cupcake best. The Christmas tree survived Noble, but a few presents did not. She was very interested in the whole gift wrapping procedures. Manning, Noble and I had the entire ranch house to ourselves for Christmas. Noble woke up at 5:00 to see what Santa brought her! New years was also spent at the ranch. Noble has started off the New year with bang and has been sleeping in until 7:30. Daddy is not as excited about this as Mommy, b/c he does not get to see her before he leaves for work. She is growing and doing more each day. The past year was full of many lessons and blessings. I can't wait to see what 2009 bring. Happy New Year to you.

Halloween Party

Sorry it has taken me so long to get these pix up. We had our grown up Halloween party on Nov. 1st. The theme this year was "Trailer Trash". Everyone really got into it. We have a good friend who owns a RV dealership and they brought us this crappy trailer they took as a trade in. We decorated it and pretty much made it the focal point of the party.
